Cover Reveal: The Hero She Loves

Tough. Honorable. Scarred inside and out.

Former military heroes turned loners.

These fierce protectors are unbroken heroes.

First of all, I want to wish you a very Happy New Year. I am SO excited to share my first cover reveal of 2025 with you.

Today, I’m sharing the cover for the final book in the action-packed Unbroken Heroes series – The Hero She Loves.

This series stars tough former military heroes who once worked Ghost Ops with Vander Norcross. The best of the best of special forces. They did the toughest missions in the hardest places. Scarred and fighting their demons, they’re loners who’ve withdrawn from life. But they are always willing to help a woman in danger, and they’ll use all their deadly skills to protect the women who drag them into the light.

This story stars ex-Ghost Ops soldier Parker Conroy. After his career in Ghost Ops ended in captivity and torture, Parker retreats to Alaska, where he can avoid everyone…until US Marshal Jenna Sheridan knocks on his door.

There’s a rogue Ghost Ops soldier on the loose and Jenna needs helping hunting the deadly murderer. She needs Parker and his skills, and she isn’t taking no for an answer.

Take a look at the cover and blurb below, and scroll down to enter my special New Year’s The Hero She Loves Giveaway to celebrate. I’ve teamed up with romantic suspense author Charissa Gracyk to give away some signed paperback book packs!

The Hero She Loves
Unbroken Heroes #5
Release date: Thursday 16th January 2025

Cover Designer: Hang Le Designs
Photographer: Wander Aguiar

The last thing he wants is to hunt a dangerous fugitive in the Alaskan wilderness, especially with a tough, stubborn US marshal.

Parker Conroy moved to Alaska to be alone. His military career in Ghost Ops ended with an explosion and three torturous weeks of captivity. It’s left him scarred, wanting to avoid people, and hating being touched.

When US Marshal Jenna Sheriden knocks on his door, he has no time for the attractive marshal. But she isn’t taking no for an answer.

A dangerous fugitive is on the loose, and he happens to be a rogue Ghost Ops soldier.

Jenna Sheriden lives and breathes being a marshal. Her past has left her with something to prove. She has zero interest in love, relationships, or anything that slows her down.

She needs help hunting a deadly murderer. She needs Parker Conroy.

The gruff, lean loner radiates a dark intensity she can’t ignore, but he has the skills to help her track down her quarry. Thrust together, they’re sharing the same bed, the same tent, and working together every hour of the day.

As they draw closer to catching the killer, Jenna sees under Park’s scarred exterior to the man beneath. A man who tempts her in ways no one ever has before. A man who will do anything to keep her safe.

If they survive this hunt, then Jenna knows she’ll have the biggest challenge of all—convincing her scarred hero to take a chance on love.

“But you got out. I never thought you would.” If there was ever a man born for the job of Ghost Ops, it was Parker Conroy.

Park looked at the view again. “I…just couldn’t anymore.” He rubbed the scars on his neck.

“You okay?”

“I healed up fine. The doctors put me back together. There was an explosion, and the recovery sucked.”

“I don’t just mean the physical recovery.”

The man’s fingers tightened on his coffee mug. “I’m fit for duty. I’ll help you protect her.”

“I don’t doubt that.” Sawyer paused. “I get it, Park. I was there not long ago.”

“I’ll be fine.” His tone was clipped.

Sawyer nodded. He’d leave it. For now.

“So, you hooked up with Hollywood’s hottest actress?”

“It’s—” Sawyer wanted to say more than a hook up, but was it? Hollis would eventually go back to LA and leave him behind. “She’s smart, beautiful… And I’m not letting her get hurt.”

Park sipped his coffee. “You’ve got my help, but man, you need to admit to yourself that you’re in love with her.”

Sawyer’s heart skipped a beat. “No. I’ve only known her a week.”

Park lifted a dark brow.

“What the hell do you know about love anyway?” Sawyer said.

“Not a thing, but I have eyes. I can see just fine.”

Sawyer shook his head. “That’s not what’s important right now. There are hitmen on this island who want her dead. That’s not going to happen.”

Park gave him the faintest smile. “Luckily, Hollis has two Ghost Ops soldiers at her back. And she has a pretty mean swing with a frying pan.”

If the hitmen tried again, they wouldn’t know what hit them.

“I’m glad you’re here, man.”

Park lifted his mug, chinking it against Sawyer’s. “Happy to be here.”

  1. We’re barely into 2025 and your already releasing a new book? Whew! Anna you definitely have things organised, could you please send me some of those vibes? I’m still in Xmas holiday mode until next week 🤣

  2. Thank you. Your writing helped me during the pandemic. That’s when I discovered your books and read every one of them on KU. Thoroughly enjoyable, got me through the days and I’m hooked! I will read everything you write, just saying:)

  3. I love this series and very excited to read this one. Sad it’s the last one but then Anna will come up with something brilliant again.

La verdad es que me encantan todos los libros de todas las series. No sabría cual elegir, y estoy segura que así seguirá siendo con los próximos libros. Muchas gracias por llevarnos a estas grandes aventuras.

  5. I absolutely love all your books and have been waiting so patiently for your next release! Always excited when you release something new, as I’ve never read anything you written that I didn’t love! You’re amazing, thanks!

  6. Enticing cover design and teasing blurb – I have a soft spot for Parker wanting him to find his happy. Thank you for the chance.

  7. Anna, I am very much looking forward to ushering in 2025 with The Hero She Loves.
Out of curiosity I went through my paperback and electronic library, and found I’ve got 139 of your books; so I’m eagerly awaiting #140! I’m sure there are other faithful readers who have even more on their shelves, but my collection is not too shabby.
My favorite series will always be Hell Squad…it all started with a fellow named Marcus…

    1. It’s a little short for a paperback, Bonnie. Hmm, maybe I need to write another Norcross short story then bundle them up in a paperback.
