He’s her boss. She’s his best friend. Then a starship crash on a deadly ice world changes everything.

Elana Korra loves her security job on the convoy ship, the Sky Nomad…except for the fact that she’s in love with her boss. Rynan is tough, loyal, and protective, and despite their simmering attraction, he refuses to cross the line with her. She needs a change and knows it’s time for her to leave.

But then a deadly attack leaves Ry and Elana on an out-of-control ship hurtling toward an unforgiving ice world.

Rynan Phoenix lives for keeping the Phoenix Deep-Space Convoy safe. He steers clear of romantic entanglements, and it’s taken all his control to ignore the tempting Elana. But when they find themselves stranded in an icy wasteland with passengers to protect and space pirates hunting them, he is forced to confront just how he feels about her.

Ry and Elana will need all of their training in order to stay alive. As they find hints to an old Earth treasure, their desire turns hotter and deeper, but then they discover that far more dangerous things call this ice planet home…
