To celebrate the release of the latest Galactic Gladiators book, Barbarian, I have a giveaway of a set of three signed gladiator paperbacks!

Abducted by alien slavers, experimented on, and left blind, the last thing doctor Winter Ashworth needs is a big barbarian gladiator in her life, especially an annoying one who thinks she’s small and weak. Rescued by gladiators on the desert world of Carthago, Winter is doggedly working to embrace her new life. But two of her friends are still missing and she’ll do anything to help get them back…even if she has to work alongside Nero Krahn: hunter, barbarian, gladiator. The scowly, brooding man is too big, has too many muscles, and pushes all her buttons.

Nero is the House of Galen’s best hunter and tracker. Raised on a barbarian world, where strength and might are prized, he was bred to hunt and fight. Now the arena is his home and his loyalty is to his imperator. He knows he can use his skills to find the two lost women, even if that means protecting a small blind woman who takes every chance to misjudge his words and lash him with her sharp tongue.

But as they follow a dangerous trail to save their friends, a new enemy emerges—one who wants Winter. The pair find themselves reluctantly attracted to each other, uncovering a scorching desire that shocks them both. As Nero fights to protect Winter, the barbarian gladiator will discover the true meaning of strength from the small Earth woman he wants to claim as his.

    Since I’m yet to read the Gladiator series, I’d have to go with Raiden – great name btw – for my sword-fighting tutor.

      Oops! I forgot to answer the question! I don’t know about sword lessons, probably Raiden. I’m anxiously awaiting seeing more of Rillian, so I wouldn’t mind whatever he wanted to teach me!

    Nero is a barbarian with a soft and squishy centre! Winter may be at a disadvantage with the loss of her sight but she is still deadly with a blade due to her history as a surgeon. Intergalactic Awesomesauce!

    I would have Raiden from the Gladiator to teach me sword fighting because that was his weapon of choice. Thorin, the hero of Warrior, used an axe. And Kace of the Hero book used a staff. So for sword fighting you need a sword wearing hero.

    Woo hoo! I get so damn excited when I get an email from you, especially when it is a new release email!! Love all the gladiators, but I think thorin teaching me some more axe skills would be awesome( but I am holding on to nero, too). Why axe, you say?? My motto “why kill them with kindness when you can use an axe”!!

    At this stage, I’d say Raiden, however I am waiting on Galen to show more of his moves.

    – I just downloaded Barbarian and can’t wait to start reading it because I know it will be awesome!
    – I know that moving sucks…so I hope everything goes smoothly.
    – As for sword fighting lessons, I think I’ll go with Raiden. He seems to know how to use/swing his really big sword! But…if Galen can handle his sword better, I may have to switch teachers. *hehehe*

      I completely agree! Barbarian was amazing but I don’t think I’ll ever get round to calling Blue anything other than Blue! Vek is an amazing name though- perfect for him! It took me about 3 sentences into his chapter in Barbarian to realise it was talking about him ??
