Happy Holidays and Anna’s Christmas Giveaway!

‘Twas the night before Christmas…

It is Christmas Eve here in Australia and I have *just* finished my writing for 2020. Woot! I now have a week off, and can’t wait to relax and spend time with my boys.

But before I head off for a gin and tonic, I wanted to say goodbye (or is it good riddance?) to 2020, and to wish you happy and safe holidays. AND, I have a Christmas Giveaway with calendars and signed books to give away — it is Christmas time after all 😀

Thanks so much for loving action-packed romance as much as I do! All the messages and emails I receive every day keep me inspired to keep writing. I get so much joy from writing all my stories and series, and breathing life into my tough, smart, courageous characters (whether they are hotshot investigators, former military badasses, or space adventurers). Most of all, I love hearing from a reader who’s day was brightened by my story, who loved escaping into one of my worlds, and who can’t wait for the next book.

I get so many feels looking at that image above! So many series I love and so many characters I have fun with. I did finish up some series this year, but that just means I am *super* excited for everything I have planned in 2021 (stay tuned for more about that in the new year!)

So, if you’re celebrating, Merry Christmas. If you have time off, Happy Holidays. I know Christmas this year looks a little different for most of us, but I like to focus on the good things and what I can do, rather than what I can’t. Whatever you have planned, stay safe, find time to relax, and enjoy!

I’ll see you in the new year with lots more action-packed romance. I am certain 2021 is bringing us all better things. Now, if you’d like a signed paperback and a hot Aussie firefighter (okay, a firefighter calendar) then enter my Christmas Giveaway below.

Anna’s Christmas Giveaway

I have EIGHT prize packs to give away to eight lucky winners. Each pack contains a hot Aussie Firefighter calendar and a signed paperback of one of my books. To enter, just use the rafflecopter below. This is open internationally for just over a week. Merry Christmas!

On a more serious note, I can’t wait for 2021 and everything it’s going to have to offer (particularly in terms of your books)! Thank you for every story you wrote that made it a little easier to get by this year and I hope next year will be better for all of us.

    1. Maïlys, the firefighters are mighty fine! Thank you for your very kind words. Writing and reading helped get me through 2020 and I am SO excited for all my 2021 writing. Stay tuned and Happy New Year!

  9. Here in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan it is currently 10 degrees and expected to get even colder. Heading to my daughter’s house for our annual brunch (altho it has always been at a local dining place)to visit and see our grands. Tomorrow will be dinner at our place with her family and my 2 other kids families (going to be interesting since my back went out yesterday – ouch!) – we have all been in our own little bubble since way back when this started so it’s safe for all of us. Hope you all have a wonderful holiday season and remember, this isn’t forever!

    1. Jan, I hope you’re staying warm and enjoying your family time. Christmas was hot for us. We went to the beach today…but we couldn’t swim thanks to a shark. But we had fun building sand castles instead. Happy New Year!

  10. Spending Christmas and Boxing Day with Greatgrand kids and family. Chaos but I love it. Love your books and can’t wait for new editions in 2021.

  16. This Christmas, I searched for a local teen girl that could use some motivation and inspiration. I put together a Christmas package for her and I’m meeting her today to gift it to her. I’m hoping this package will help empower her and give her a better sense of self worth.

    1. Oh, Christina, what a thoughtful, kind thing to do. I have no doubt that she will appreciate it so much. Happy New Year to you.

  17. Thanks for the giveaway! It will be a quiet holiday at home this year, but that’s ok! We’ll still get to see the grandparents on facetime, and we have plenty of hot chocolate to get us through.

  18. Thank you so much for this giveaway. I have just recently discovered your books and I can’t get enough of them. I started off with the Norcross series, then on to Team 52 and now I have started on the Treasure Hunter series. They are all so good!!!!! Merry Christmas!

  23. My adult daughters are coming over to spend the night and celebrate with us tomorrow. Since they have been super safe and my husband and I always wear masks when we are out, we feel it’s safe. 24. Hi and Merry Christmas to all the Hackateers
I am in California so my family and I are celebrating Christmas eve with tamales. I get to see my niece who lives in Seattle and she just got engaged!
Would love me some Aussie firefighters

  25. We’re seeing our oldest today to drop off gifts safely. He lives in an apartment complex and his roommate works in an office, so they are staying isolated. Our second oldest is still a university student and has been isolated for most of this month, so he will be joining us on Christmas Day. Other than that, we’re keeping it simple, and our youngest is finishing her Girl Scout Gold Award project, then getting her wisdom teeth out, so we will be helping her as she heals. It will be small, but filled with love.

  26. Staying at home with a feisty mini schnauzer and a laid back cavashon. Never saw fire fighters like that forty years ago when my husband signed up. Loving the new Norcross series, looking forward to the next one. Have a truly happy Christmas, chill, enjoy and stay safe.

  57. I will be celebrating with my family of 4 since we cannot celebrate with our extended family this year. It will be simple but will have all our favourite foods😊

  58. Well having Xmas lunch on my Family’s cattle station up at Hughenden. Horrofic drought at the moment so hoping for some much needed rain.

  64. Rhonda Schumacher

We are still sheltering in place in Jacksonville, Florida. I had a complete hysterectomy on December 18th so we are very low key this year. My husband is doing all the Christmas cooking for us and I am armchair quarterbacking for him from the recliner as he cooks things solo that I used to make. 🤣😂🤣 He’s also trying to smoke a prime rib for Christmas Day. He’s had great luck with his smoker so I am looking forward to that. We FaceTime with our kids so we can to watch them open gifts. Best part of the day. Happy New Year 2021.

    1. Rhonda, I hope you’re recovering well. Wow, what a great hubby. Hope his cooking was all a success. Happy New Year.

  72. Merry Christmas🎄
Hope your year was good all things considered. Have enjoyed reading your books this past year. Keep creating great books for us to lose ourselves into and enjoy.

    1. Thanks, Roxanne. My year was good, all things considered. As always, I love escaping into writing my stories and am thrilled so many readers enjoy them. More on the way in 2021. Happy New Year.

  73. Since we aren’t going out visiting different family members, I am attempting to cook my very first Christmas dinner. Ha, it will interesting to see how this turns out as I have never cooked any of the dishes before. Happy Holidays from my family to yours.

  74. I am not sure I entered the raffle correctly. I thought we were supposed to post on there somewhere and it wouldn’t let me, so maybe it should be here. We are staying home and Zooming with our grown children. They are picking up gifts and breakfast foods from our home today to enjoy when we open gifts/eat on Zoom together. Thank you Anna for your books. I have already read and enjoyed Team 52 and am currently working my way through the Treasure Hunters books. I LOVE all of the historical or scientific facts/goodies that you put in those series. I keep saying, “NO WAY” and then find myself looking information up – at least once per book. 🙂

    1. I double checked and you’re all entered, Jennifer! I am so, so glad you’re enjoying Team 52 and THS. I hope you and you family enjoyed your Zooms and Christmas. Happy New Year.

  75. Having lunch with friends. A bit sad because this will be my first Christmas that I will not be with family and I will miss them.

  76. I just wanted to say thank you for your books. I have so enjoyed the adventures I have gone on through your characters this past year! I am a teacher and your books are my “Brain Break”! I am spending Christmas with my 3 kids, husband, and German Shepherd River! I am so blessed to be teaching virtually/hybrid and still get to be with my family! Happy Holidays to you and yours

    1. Thank you, Christy. I love knowing my books are an escape from the real world for my readers 😀 Hope you had a wonderful Christmas.

  77. Thrilled with how you rounded out the year Anna. The various books were a bright spot in an otherwise rough 2020. It will be me, my hubby, kids, and pets all celebrating Christmas with a Zoom-y Christmas with extended family. I will round out my year with joy, love, hope for the coming year, and part 1 of covid inoculation. Stay healthy and safe, and find a reason to smile every day.

    1. Thanks, Amy!! I hope you enjoyed your Christmas and here’s to a much better 2021 for all. I am so glad my books provided a bright spot — thrills me to know. Happy New Year.

  78. Merry Christmas to one and all!
I’m in Florida in the U.S. and am spending Christmas with me, myself and I. We’re going to have a good time and hope that next Christmas we get to spend time with the family.

  79. Fantastic Holiday giveaway thank you for the chance – wanted to order the calendar, but with all the abuse we have indured from the upstairs woman and her lies on the eviction list I spent most of my time trying to get evidence to prove the lies I forgot to order it. Over 500 days of abusive on purpose noise is horrible way to live. Because of the virus we have yet to get a court date. I wanted to go visit my best friend in New Jersey – but again that was a squash because of the virus. We got lucky and celebrated the holiday 2 weeks ago at our fav resturant; now all the resturants are again closed. My daughter and I are spending the holiday alone as is my brother an mom. My daughter and I will be watching the new Wonder Woman movie on the Disney Channel Christmas day. I was not kidding when I wrote that your books lift me up. During this year of Hell your stories make me happy; when I am down I pick one of your books and re-read it. Wishing you and yours Happy Holidays. Wishing you another great year of fabulous stories.

    1. Sherill, I am so sorry to hear about your troubles. I truly hope it gets sorted out soon. Glad you and your daughter made the most of being at home. As always, I am so happy to know that my books bring a little light in the darkness. Here’s to more stories in 2021 and a much better year!

  80. Merry Christmas! We were able to make it to my parents for Christmas this year! I hope you and your family enjoy your time off!

  81. I’m finally getting to see my family tomorrow for Christmas! My mum and dad and my 3 little brothers. Me and my little girl are over the moon. I think we’re both feeling as if seeing our loved ones is more a gift than anything else this year.

I hope you all have a fantastic christmas x

  82. Stephanie Claypoole

Merry Christmas & hope everyone has a fantastic holiday season – despite the virus & all the doom & gloom.

  83. Thank you for offering such a tantalizing and steamy “good riddance 2020” giveaway! I would love one of these amazing prizes to “help” bring in the new (and hopefully better) New Year! Happy Christmas Anna and I do hope you get time to yourself to unwind and unplug!! Good luck everyone!!

  84. Thanks for doing the Christmas giveaway and giving us a chance to win a calendar and book. For Christmas we’re getting up early for the boys to open their gifts. Then going to my sister in law’s house to have Christmas dinner and more presents for the kids. We’ll also see some of my family the day after Christmas. We usually also fit in another gathering to see my hubby’s grandparents and extended family but to keep them safe we just did a virtual meet up to wish them merry Christmas this year. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and happy new year with your boys.

  85. Merry Christmas!
I am spending Christmas at home because we found out yesterday that my Grand-Niece has the coronavirus. So the family is texting and calling. We are thankful for all we have.
I am thankful to have your books for company and wish you and yours the best Christmas ever!

  86. For us, Christmas will be a quiet one at home, with a video chat to my parents in England!
But I did want to say Merry Christmas to you, and I can’t wait to read about the new series you start 🤗 and of course… the secret project!

(I won’t be celebrating Christmas this year as we lost my godmother just after midnight this morning (Christmas day).)

  88. Hi there! I hope u have a Beautiful Christmas and a Happy, good riddance to 2020, New Year!! I spending Christmas with my 4 children, my grandson, and my son-in-law but can’t be around the rest of my Family right now because 4 of them have covid. It’s going to be bitter-sweet. We’ll be praying for them while just enjoying being together. Many warm hugs

  89. Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays to one and all. We are staying at home, having my parents for the Christmas weekend. Christmas Day is well and truly underway already here in New Zealand.

  90. This year my family is postponing our Christmas until July. Hopefully by then everything will settle down and we will all be able to get together. Right now my grandson, who lives with his mom, sisters, and other grandma, is in quarantine because the grandma has covid.
Personally I am going to a friend’s house for part of the day so she’s not totally alone. Then will spend the evening with my youngest son, who lives with me.
    Thank you for the opportunity.

  91. Family dinner with extended family (COVID safe of course) at our older daughters house. With roasts and salads and pav for dessert. Lots of cool drinks, fun and laughter.

  144. Happy Holidays! I spent this Christmas trying to be as happy as possible for my kids since my mom passed this Christmas it was rough but we did ok, so I’m happy about that… I’d love to get the fireman’s planner, I’ve been trying to get one online, sold out for a month! I’d be happy with a wall one too then I can laugh as my hubby walks by to our closet to get his clothes and sees a naked firefighter, only fair …right?
